A BREAKTHROUGH
Finally some proof to my long held conclusion that MacRime's presence as Bishop in Corkaree (west Meath) lead to founding of O'Braoin sepy in that area known historically as the kingdom of Brawney or Bregamaine.
The O'Braoins were "kings" of that modest kingdom now coterminous in part wit St Marys parish in Roscommon?West Meath
While i have long concluded that the Braoins?(mistakenlyBreens for ever  per O'Donovan) that they were descendants of Bron hence cousins of ours ,the support was all mine .When O'Donovan meet with the O'Braoins there he told then they were Breens,they said they were Briens.
So i posited that if I were right I might find a Brien" from that area and convince him to run a DNA test.
Well I found two candidates Vincent O'Brien and William O'Bryan and it wasn't hard since they were both very close matches on 111 STR DNA matches
I then convinced Dr.Vincent O'Brien to do a "Big Y DNA test.
The results show we are amazingly close ,wit matching terminal SNP's at the furthest point for which testing is available.
